"Sneakernets and Copy Houses" is a video essay that delves into the unique media distribution network of El Paquete Semanal in Cuba, where restricted internet access limits digital content consumption. This network distributes a terabyte of diverse global media content weekly across the island via USBs and hard drives through a network of deliverers known as paqueteros. The video, based on extensive ethnographic fieldwork, uses a desktop documentary format that draws on interviews, photos, and screen recordings.
